Axel is a DPhil student working in Economics and Public Policy at Tufts University.
Axel worked as a Research Assistant in Development Economics at the Blavatnik School of Government and the Centre for the Study of African Economies. He provided analytic and logistical support to a randomized controlled trial in Kenya which studies the linkages between cash transfers, psychological constraints and economic empowerment.
Axel has a BA in Economics and International Affairs from the George Washington University and the MSc in Economics for Development from the University of Oxford.
