Defining the concepts measured frequently in behavioural research

Understanding the principles which determine behaviour is the first step to conducting research in behavioural economics. In this glossary, we define the skills and characteristics frequently measured by researchers at the Mind & Behaviour Research Group. We aim to provide researchers with an accessible introduction to these concepts, including a brief overview, links to measurement tools, and references to key works.

Glossary of socio-emotional skills and behavioural concepts

The following glossary offers common terminology and definitions of behavioural concepts cited in Mind & Behaviour research work.

This glossary evolves with our study themes. If you have any feedback or would like to propose additional measures we can review, please get in touch: mbrg@bsg.ox.ac.uk
