Linkages in Labour Economics Workshop

The MBRG held an innovative, multi-field conference bringing together applied microeconomists and macroeconomists working on topics in labour economics. Attendees included around forty academics, from institutions such as Yale, LSE, University of Chicago, UCL, Duke, the World Bank and Boston University.

We ran five thematic sessions over the course of the two days. These included:

  • Using administrative data to measure employment flows
  • Measurement processes, as well as topic sessions on social norms
  • Generating employment in general equilibrium
  • Information frictions and beliefs in the labour market.

Plans are underway for a recurring annual event.
